Yellow ... Gold ... AURUNA®
Under this trade name AURUNA® we offer a wide range of precious metal electrolytes for functional and decorative plating. The technical characteristics and the look of the gold layers can be customised according to our client’s wishes. Individual service and support are all-important to us. The AURUNA® series comprises the following processes: Fine Gold, Hard Gold, Immersion Gold, Electroless Gold, Direct Gold Plating of Stainless Steel and Colour Gold.

White, whiter ...
Rhodium is an undispensable part for the manufaturing of jewellery du to it’s brilliant white colour.  Rhodium is also being used for functional applications as contact material. For example for the plating of so-called reed switches. Under the international well known trade mark RHODUNA® we are offering a number of rhodium electrolytes for decorative as well as technical applications.
Our rhodium electrolyte range consists of: RHODUNA® J1, T, TD and DX, Pencil Rhodium and Black Rhodium.

... the whitest ...
are our silver coatings from the ARGUNA® range.
Electroplated silver deposits for decorative applications, such as cutlery and hollow ware do show a specific white colour, an excellent hardness and brightness. For applications within the electronic industry bond- and solderable silver coatings with a high purity are required. The ARGUNA® series includes the following processes: Fine Silver and Hard Silver.

Our "white" precious metals range is rounded off by Palladium, Platinum and Ruthenium.
The trade name PALLUNA® involves Palladium and Palladium alloys:
Palladium deposits are used as a barrier to prevent diffusion. Therefore they are specifically used for decorative applications, such as for the plating of watch cases, as an intermediate layer (nickel replacement). Increasingly, Palladium is also being used as a white coloured final layer. For technical applications, such as the plating of connectors, primarilly Palladium alloy electrolytes are being used.

We are marketing processes for the deposition of platinum under the trade name PLATUNA®. They are being used for decorative applications for the plating of jewellery, bath room fixtures and valuable writing utensils. PLATUNA® electrolytes are also being used as an alternative to Rhodium in times of high Rhodium costs. The processes are also being used for functional plating.

Ruthenium is part of the platinum group of metals and can be electroplated with an interesting dark blackish colour. The colour is defined by the usage of special additives. The process enables the plating of various decorative applications, such as carat and fashion jewellery and bath room fixtures.

High speed precious metal electrolytes

We offer customized processes for high-speed deposition of Gold, Silver, Palladium or Palladium alloys in reel-to-reel plating lines We consider these processes as part of our core business and do therefore continuously optimize the products to adopt them to market and customer requirements.  Our AURUNA® selective module allows for an economical application of precious metals.

We offer the following high-speed deposition processes: AURUNA® Fine Gold and Hard Gold, ARGUNA® Fine Silver, PALLUNA® Palladium and Palladium-Nickel.
